The 2012 Seattle Mariners/Oakland Athletics Fantasy Camp had a very distinct Hall of Fame flavor. Ricky Henderson was in camp and participated by being a roving camp coach complementing a staff that already included such standouts as Bert Campaneris, Dave Stewart, Greg Cadaret, Gill Heredia and Scott Hattteberg. Rickey Henderson was elected to baseball’s Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility and provided both instruction and insite on his sucesses. He represents one of the very best players of his era and takes his place among the most elite ever to put on a Major League uniform. This was a unique and privledged opportunity! We look forward to hosting the 2013 camp back in Papago next January and hope to see you there!

Talent not required
It’s not whether you win or lose that counts here. It’s that you love the game. In other words, your skill level doesn’t matter. The Athletics Fantasy Camp is a great week and a lifetime of memories for baseball lovers of all shapes, sizes and ages. You don’t need to be good. You just need to love the game and be over 30 years old!
